VJTI and Gharda Chemicals Limited presents Technovanza powered by Red Hat, under the patronage of Make in India, Skill India, Digital India and UNESCO is going to be held on 23rd, 24th and 25th of December 2016.Every year VJTI Technovanza conducts highly popular and creative promotional events in malls across the city. This year on 12th of December, Monday, team Technovanza conducted a range of fascinating events at Infiniti Mall, Malad, as part of their mall event, Impulse. The 120 member team showcased its four mega-attractions: A multi view 3-D Rubik’s cube art (based on the theme of Transforming India), an interactive physical digital Pinball game, Robo-Soccer and Wall-E (a line following automated robot) during the mall event.
The top view of the cube art showcased Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the other views were based on the burning topic of demonetization. An e-waste model of the Indian map was an attraction with its used up ICs and CDs. Kids at the mall had a gala time playing with the robots, scoring goals against each other. This technical extravaganza charmed the visitors from 11 am to 9 pm.
Technovanza, in its 17th edition strives to realize its vision of 'Transforming India'. Technovanza has grown tremendously in the 16 years of its journey , emerging as a national level event, attracting ‘Techno Enthusiasts’ from varied age groups, and expanding its reach with every passing year.Technovanza, one of the most awaited techno-management festivals of the year, brings its most excitingevents like Startup Fair, which is a startup expo, with 60 participating startups providing 300+ paid internships to students. The startup panel discussion will see a wide array of startup sharing their views on the topic- Start ups: The Big Band Theory. Rubik’s Cube Mumbai Open, the flagship event has participants from all over the globe. The festival will be visited by eminent personalities on the three days like Dr Jayant Narlikar, Dr A.S.K. Kumar, Medha Patkar, Bjarne Stoustrup (the developer of C++), to name a few.
