NSBM Program a unique initiative by the company to give students with a real life experience over Brand & Marketing Management, and also to promote the Nissan brand among the youth. The Program is spread over the period of a six months starting from July this year in which they will be provided intense training and an opportunity to gain experience to work in Nissan India.

” It’s not a commercial activity; we are not looking for people to sell cars. We are providing a platform for the Business School Students to have an in hand experience of Brand Management and also for promotion of the brand among the youth.” Said Mr. Dinesh Jain, who handles national Sales and Marketing.
To apply for the program, students of the selected colleges have to log on to the NSBM website (www.nsbm.in) and register themselves. All students must be a part of the 2nd year MBA program of their respective colleges.
There is a 3 tier selection process out of which only 20 NSBM students will be chosen across 20 cities all over India. The students will judged on the basis of their business strategy and presentation of the project given by the company which is also a part of the selection process. The panel of judges includes Mr. Prahlad Kakkar, Mr. Harish Bijoor, Brand Consultant and Mr.Hormazd Sorabjee, Editor of Autocar India Magazine.
The selected students will then have to give 4-5 unique innovative ideas for which the company will provide them a marketing budget of Rs. 20,000. These activities will be used in promotion of the brand. During the program the students will be given a stipend of Rs. 30,000 along with a NSBM kit (Digital Camera, Visiting Card, T-shirt and a jacket).
Ms. Parul Srivastav, a student of KJ Somaiya Management Institute, Mumbai selected in the NSBM 2010 program,said “This program gave me a great exposure of the market, which helped me understand the current scenario and also enhanced my understanding of business.”
