Technovanza 2013, VJTI, Mumbai, Dec 28-30

Technovanza is VJTI’s annual techno-management festival with the motto of ‘Taking Technology to the Society’ is scheduled for Dec 28-30, 2013. Since 2001, Technovanza has been a three day fest, which has included a number of social initiatives and outreach programmes.

Technovanza’12 attracted a tremendous footfall of 23,000 people, with a significant outstation participation of 15,000 including corporate and many curious minds! Technovanza’13, with the theme ‘Integrating to Perfection’, awaits many distinguished events, competitions, exhibitions, workshops, lectures and seminars.

Through exhibitions like Blind Navigation, Butler Robot, Eye controlled Wheel Chair, E-bag, Heart Attack Alert, Traffic Automation, Unmanned Ground Vehicle, Biomimicry, Submerged Floating Tunnel, Gesture-controlled Robo-arm, Contraption, Texting Tumbler, Unmanned Railway Crossing.

Last year, Mr. Ratan Tata visited VJTI during Technovanza. He interacted with the students and advised them about their career. He was pleased by having a look at his Rubiks cube art made by students of VJTI.

Acknowledging the three years of the fruitful journey of ‘Pratigya’, a social initiative to generate curiosity in young minds and mould them into technologically responsible citizens, we bring along ‘Mission Mumbai’. Mission Mumbai is an opportunity for the common man to present innovative and feasible solutions to the problems of Mumbai.

This December, VJTI campus is all set to witness the participants test their destructive best in events like Robowars, face the most challenging coding situations and prove themselves the ‘Ultimate Coder’, empower their ideas to reality through ‘Technical Paper Presentation’, experience the real life scenario of a builder as they ‘Drive through’ the obstacles and ‘Bridge the Gap’, race IC engine cars through rocky terrain, present solutions to the problems statements of technological companies through ‘i-Code’ and test their big start-up ideas in ‘Unicus’.

Technovanza’13 has in store, many incredible exhibitions and brain racking events through which the participants can win cash prizes upto Rs. 1 lakh!
