This year being the 16th year of SIESONS, the enthusiasm of the volunteers is at its peak. SIESONS is scheduled to be flagged open on the 6th and 7th of February this year.
Do not be surprised if you see a vehicle moving across your neighbourhood enquiring with people as to how they express themselves. ThatÔÇÖs because the theme for SIESONS -15, the most awaited Intercollegiate cultural festival of SIES (Nerul) this year is ÔÇÿCelebrating YouÔÇÖ express yourself the way you and the person you are.
On Dec 3, a strong contingent of 250+ volunteers entered in the college building along with the energetic beats of dhol. There was dance, t-shirt quotes, mime acts, imitative and creative experiments with water colors and other creative stuff. A photo booth was also set up as a promotional event activity for  the fest where students could go along with their friends and get themselves clicked.
The highlight of the event was the theme song HAI HAQ TUJHE which was presented by Shivsharan B alongwith Deepak  on keyboard, Sanket Joshi on acoustic guitar and singer, Edwin Joseph and Jibin Thomas on electric guitar and Akash on drums.
ÔÇ£In the era of social networking,┬á personal communication is taking a back seat. One may be in a crowd and yet not communicate with anyone. Students talents are somewhere being suppressed in the rat race to get good results, admissions, jobs. Celebrating You is the theme for SIESONS this year where students can express themselves through a plethora of events in varied categoriesÔÇØ says Prof. Vasanti Rajadhyaksha, Convenor, Students Council and Siesons-15
ÔÇ£While talking with a lot many people through our smile express team, we enquired on how they celebrate themselves? Our emotions like a journalist if they can make you then they can even break you that is why where, how and how much to express your emotions plus how to compromise with them are the things which a person should know. The experience of talking to people made me realize and learn many thingsÔÇØ exclaims Shrutika Kolekar ,Media PR Volunteer, Siesons 14 -15
Ajinkya Deshmukh, Literary Arts Head, SIESONS said,ÔÇØ ItÔÇÖs not always work but work with fun and this year with literary arts we have events not just for intellectuals but for all with the lot many twists. I believe your childhood is the best expressive phase and there dwells a child within each one of us.ÔÇØ
