Vox Populi is a new series of Guest Lectures by Festember that seeks to bring the inspiring stories of lesser known people that have left their mark in the world around them. The first speaker in this series was Mrs. Sneha Mohandas. She's the mastermind behind the "Food Bank" initiative that aims to eradicate hunger in India.
The event was conducted in the Senate Room, like an interactive session between the speaker and the audience. After a small, but informative presentation the speaker revealed that the idea of the initiative was to provide at least one fresh meal a day to the poor and needy. The floor was then opened to questions, where topics like the driving force behind "Food Bank" and the logistical challenges faced, were discussed. On the whole, the first edition of Vox Populi was a promising beginning for the things to come.
A diverse set of teams came together to enthrall the audience with their performances at the Indie Stage from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, in the Lecture Hall Complex. An Informals event, people from various places went up on stage to show their love for music.
