Plot – The movie is a portrayal of the lives of mental patients who are called “psychos” who are “damaged”, and how different life is for them compared to normal people.
What’s Good –
The movie has a bold theme. Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao are both fantastic in their performances.
It tries to bring awareness about how a psycho behaves and thinks, which is quite different. Yes, one has to be understanding towards them. The plot is fresh and never seen before.
What’s Bad –
The script of the movie is confusing and you need a very clever and patient mind to understand the flow.
In the beginning, the movie relies heavily on sexual innuendo with some humour. Where the movie fails is in stereotyping mental patients as criminals or plain scary. It is loud, gross and numbs the viewer after a while.
The songs and background score are a disappointment
My Verdict – A movie with a message that few can understand. Seriously looks like trying hard to scare you, alas Ekta Kapoor could never be excellent.
