Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in September '07, launched
the Indian Premier League (IPL) along the lines of football's English Premier
League and the National Basketball Association (NBA) of the U.S. The Indian
Premier League is a Twenty20 cricket competition. The IPL is being built
on a colossal canvas with crores of cash riding on it. With the advent of
