Are you a Virgin?

Why was no boy asked this question ever? Funny Haa! Always a girl’s character is questioned, whether its for a wedding or a high post. It’s interesting to know that each time I say its the best doctor or a company owner, its always a male figure that pops into your mind and its natural. Not just you or me, it’s in everyone.

One day I was listening to the radio and a man said he could never imagine a girl being higher than me in any post. Seriously? I was wondering which bird dropped him off at the doorstep then, jackass.
The time I actually thought of writing this article was when I saw a few douche-bags on a bike eve teasing my friends. My friends just walked by and pretended like nothing happened. This instigated anger within me, I went up to them and asked why they didn’t do something. Their reply was both shocking and true, they said if they did something either no one would come for help or they would be made fun of.

Every time she walks the streets, enters a pub, sits in a bus or takes an auto, the threat of losing her respect hits her heart. Ever wonder why he doesn’t need to worry about the late night shifts or the short clothes. Why is a crop top such an issue if a shirtless guy is sexy? Is it because of his balls?
What if:
Every time she drives her car, there is loud Honey Singh music playing inside, probably roll down the glass and wave at a guy she finds cute. She starts checking out a guy in the streets coz he is well dressed. Even go up to a random stranger and make a conversation as she thinks him to be interesting. Go up to a guy at a joint and flirt. Offer to buy a drink in a bar.
I have no shame in saying that all these things are done by me and as a matter of fact I enjoy doing so.
Is a guy supposed to feel awkward then? Run away or probably complain? If yes, then I feel every girl should start doing these things because apparently we live in an ‘unbiased and modern’ society, where equality is our moto. If you feel the guy is supposed to play along in these situations, well then my message to all girls is to act the exact bloody way you want a guy to (stay strong).
“Come home early.”
“It’s not safe”
“Avoid night outs”
“Never react to them”
No boy ever got to hear these then why does a girl need to hear it every time she steps out. How about you try saying
“Be Strong”
“Be Confident”
“Don’t run away”
“Don’t avoid”
That’s when equality really takes place.
These words heard almost every day, “Motherfucker” “Bhenchod” “teri maa ki”
kyun bhai , “tere baap ki nahi ?” “bhaichod”
Gandhi once said “if you want the change , be the change”
Change isn’t ignoring or walking away , it’s growing up. Spread the words “Strong girls” rather than “Weak girls”
They usually say you can’t let go of people you love, well than loving yourself and your respect should be a priority.
Be equal Be strong. One day we can see no rapes, no eve teasing, no molesting but more respect.
